Every calibration of major nominal loads requires adaptors. But producing them is difficult and expensive. A fact we at GTM are keenly aware of: after all, we operate the world’s largest private-sector force measuring unit for tensile and compressive force.
So we decided to help out a bit. Our GTM calibration lab maintains a supply of various standardised adaptors for calibration ranges up to 10 MN. This way, GTM customers can cut costs by up to tens of thousands.
Check whether you need to adapt your calibration object: you can download 3D PDFs below. These detail possible installation situations for force transducers. If you have the necessary software (e.g. Adobe Acrobat Reader XI), you can even export the dimensions straight from the drawings.
We recommend: Make sure that everything runs smoothly by discussing installation dimensions with us before placing a calibration order or producing adapters. Complying with the specified dimensions alone cannot guarantee that we can assemble your measuring unit the way you desire.
