We calibrate moments in the range from 5 to 5,000 N in our in-house calibration lab. In addition to torque transducers and torque measuring shafts, calibrations of torque wrenches with lever arm and transverse force introduction are possible in the restricted range

Torque reference standard machine


 

Torque reference standard machine 5kN-m-Dm-BNME

The reference standard machine consists of a two-arm lever arm with strain-controlled bearings and a mass that can be positioned by means of a spindle.

  • The measurand: Right and left hand torque  
  • The operating principle: Running weight on two-sided lever arm, supported by elastic strain-controlled joints.
  • Accredited measuring ranges:  5 N-m to 50 N-m (in any load steps) 10 N-m to 200 N-m (in any load steps) 50 N-m to 1000 N-m (at any load level) 200 N-m to 5000 N-m (in any load steps)
  • Expanded relative measurement uncertainty: 2·10-4 for all measuring ranges
