GTM at trade fairs and leading exhibitions in 2024 - products and expertise live
In June, we attended the SENSOR+TEST in Nuremberg and presented our entire product and service portfolio to trade fair visitors. One focus topic was the robust RF series high-load transducers, which are being used in ever larger test benches for wind turbines, for example. They work reliably even at peak loads or even overloads and deliver precise results in a nominal force range from 25 kN to 10 MN. Another highlight at the SENSOR+TEST was the technical presentation by our colleague Gerhard Schulder (Product Development) on the topic of multi-axis calibration: methods and measurement uncertainty - all in all a successful start to the 2024 trade fair year.
Things continued in August with IMEKO 2024 in Hamburg, the 24th World Congress of Metrology, with numerous workshops and a top-class lecture program - this year under the headline “Think Metrology”. The specialist lecture given by Daniel Schwind (Head of Metrology) was met with great interest. His topic was the new loadcell standard machine for classifying C6 load cells under temperature conditions. Another presentation dealt with the current state of development at GTM, with a particular focus on the calibration of multi-axis transducers. The exchange with top international metrology experts provided us with valuable input. At the same time, we successfully and coherently presented ourselves to the industry as a market leader with our know-how. A successful event in every respect.
The trade fair year ended for us in October with testXpo 2024 in Ulm, the trade fair for materials testing and also the “in-house exhibition” of our parent company ZwickRoell. The trade fair program included around 70 specialist presentations and more than 200 exhibits on 3,500 square meters. The focus at our stand was on materials testing and quality assurance: visitors at testXpo were able to talk to us about our solutions for measuring forces and torques and for materials testing. Of particular interest to many was our range of calibration services - essential for the numerous applications and manufacturing processes of Industry 4.0.
We can look back on an exciting trade fair year 2024 and would like to thank everyone who helped make our appearances at the trade fairs and congresses so successful!
