Looking back on a strong year
GTM continued to grow in 2025, implementing exciting projects
The first piece of good news reached us in April. GTM was included in the list of Germany's fastest-growing midsized companies by the SZ Institute and Creditreform. To be included in this ranking, companies must demonstrate positive sales growth of at least 10 percent and positive employee growth of at least 5 percent from 2021 to 2024. We were delighted to receive this award, as it motivates us to continue on our chosen path.
New management team takes over
With the change in management , we have reached another important milestone. Since April 2025, Marcel Richter and Paul Zolnierek have been leading GTM into the future together. They are taking over from Michael Kadziela, who successfully steered the company through challenging times with foresight and stability.
The new dual leadership team is continuing along this path with a clear strategic focus, technical expertise, and the common goal of strengthening and expanding GTM internationally in the coming years.
Greater precision through targeted investments
To consistently meet our high-quality standards in the future, we are investing in our employees, technology, and infrastructure. In 2025, we welcomed three new colleagues to our team.
We equipped our production facility with a new oven that creates optimal conditions for demanding manufacturing steps, such as applying strain gauge strips under defined pressure and controlled heat. The subsequent TK0 calibration also benefits from these stable, reproducible conditions. The result is transducers that are even more reliable, durable, and precise—exactly what our customers expect from GTM.
At the same time, we have expanded our calibration services. With the expansion of our DAkkS-accredited calibration capabilities for torque transfer wrenches, we can now offer our customers an even broader range of services at the highest metrological level.
We have successfully completed the changeover of our item numbers for our transducer portfolio, which is an investment in successful cooperation with our customers. They will benefit from greater clarity thanks to clear structures and uniform classification. They will also experience less effort and an ordering process that feels more intuitive than ever before.
We should also mention the completion of our renovation work. The results are impressive, especially the new cafeteria and lounge area.
Outstanding projects at home and abroad
Last year, we once again successfully implemented numerous challenging customer projects. Two projects stand out in particular:
For a new OEM customer, we developed two customized force transducers with capacities of 1 MN and 3 MN, respectively, which were precisely tailored to the specific machine flanges and manufactured with the utmost precision.
Another highlight took us to Ethiopia, where we equipped a new laboratory building in Addis Ababa with our force standard measuring devices and force transfer standards on behalf of the Ethiopian Metrology Institute. In this way, we are actively contributing to the strengthening of the metrological infrastructure and making precision available at the highest level.
Together on the road – events that connect
2025 was a year full of exciting events for us. We demonstrated how well our team works together. Whether at trade fairs, company runs, or internal events, spending time together, exchanging ideas, and fostering camaraderie has significantly strengthened our sense of unity at GTM.
Thank you to all our colleagues who made these moments possible with their commitment, knowledge, and enthusiasm.
