Whether it was the 2.5 km, 3.5 km, 5 km, or 10 km race—at the 2026 Merck Company Run in Darmstadt, the GTM team wasn’t focused on setting a personal best, but on the spirit of togetherness. Even before the start, the atmosphere was fantastic: during the traditional group photo, participants adjusted their race numbers, shared a few jokes, and encouraged one another.

Then it was time to say: Ready, steady, go!
With plenty of energy and enthusiasm, our eleven runners hit the course—each at their own pace, but with the same goal in mind. And just like every year, it became clear once again: team spirit doesn’t end at the finish line. The first finishers cheered on those following them loudly—a true symbol of what makes GTM special.

After the run, the athletic evening turned cozy: with cool drinks, good food, and lots of smiling faces, we wrapped up the day together. For us, the company run is more than just a sporting event—it stands for solidarity, motivation, and the joy of making a difference together.
